Bio:
I was born and raised in Italy, after scientific high-school I moved to study Physics at the University of Pisa, where I got Bachelor and Master Degree in Applied Physics (Curriculum Fisica della Materia), with particular interests in solid state materials and ultrafast lasers. I attended the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität, Munich, for one academic Erasmus year.
My thesis was about the study of turbulent flows in integrated micro-resonant structures by exploiting Surface Waves.
Later I joined ELI Beamlines in Prague as Junior Researcher, driven by the interest of focusing ultra-high power lasers on very confined spaces and to study laser-matter and laser-plasma interaction at very short timescales. Indeed one of my interest inside the Particle Acceleration Group of which I am currently part of is to develop advanced diagnostics techniques of laser-plasma interactions.
